A nice set of slow mellow slow and sometimes spicy tunes Snakeice "Quiet Storm" style, all decades of recorded music of course mixed with the present.

Taking today and the next few days off doing things around the home den and right now need to here some wild style mobbin' shiiiii....

That’s right I finally decide to take advantage of playing from a Shoutcast Streaming server. I am using the same server that my music stream is coming off of and redirecting that stream through my Shoutcast server.

I will do some more testing as this week and times goes by and post the implications and surely make some changes to the site here so you can just click and have Winamp start playing the stream.

Right now this is merely the beginning of placing the Snakeice House of Beats” on the Shoutcast map right along with my normal stream.

I'm going to finally place this station in Shoutcast but in updating Winamp I have to reboot the music server but I will be back in about 15 - 20 minutes streaming music once more. I want all of the music components on one server otherwise I can have Shoutcast and/or Winamp on another server.

What, what throwing them thangs Krazy style with everything else mixed in from across the nation and decades back!

The wildest beats R&B, hip-hop, pop, rock and more!

I’m back streaming music! I added some new songs by current artists such as T-Pain, Ne-Yo, and The Mossie etc... I also added some of my old school favorites like Aura’s “Are You Single” (I used to wear that tape out), David Ruffin, Gap Band, Spinners, Klymaxx, Shock and Too Short’s 12” Classic “Girl Cocaine” (short version) I used to bump on the cruise in my ‘69 Caprice and Jeep, just to give you a taste of the flavor I’m mixing here.

You may ask why does the music need to re-sync well this is not just a bunch of files put together like some then processed through a stream. Here I try and give as true DJ experience as possible which is music without silence between songs! My music is mixed in with the software I use just like a DJ would. I can also control how I want the music mixed as it is streamed through the internet. I add songs as I go as well but on some days I add a lot of music at one time like tonight.

Drop in when you can and you will hear something that may sound familiar but is an old song you never heard before but was sampled or remade into a current hit.

You may hear a song start thinking yeah this takes me back and it’s a current release!

Sometimes you will get this back to back so come by and chill with me in my virtual “Snakes Den of Music”.

A snakes den is always a nice mellow place to chill as long as you don’t make the wrong move.

I am adding new songs and some more old school as well. After a bit of time to re-scync the new songs into the mix I will be right back streaming the music across the internet.

I reloaded my ftp module into the firewall of my Linux web server and that enabled my XP Pro music server to properly update my Linux web server with the currently playing songs.

For those interested the Linux module that needed to be loaded was the “ip_contrak_ftp” module with the command “modprobe ip_contrak_ftp” which is already in my “/etc/rc.local” file so that when the system boots its loaded automatically.

What had happened was that I had had installed SSL certificates on my system and needed to add the port used by them into the iptables Linux firewall. I did this using the program Webmin.

What I failed to do after adding SSL access to the firewall and applying the settings was to restart the “ip_contrak_ftp” module that I use for ftp access through the firewall. This “ip_contrak_ftp” module is not brought up after stopping and starting iptables Linux firewall manually it seems since it’s a module.

I will chalk that up as one to remember or I may just add ftp in the file with the other firewall settings. I would have to use Webmin or the CLI (command line interface) so that it is placed in the firewall table in /etc/sysconfig/ directory since it’s not recommended to manually edit those files. That way manual manipulation of the firewall will not affect ftp.

I made the SSL changes about 26 hours ago so that has been the length of the issue.

What this means is that the songs playing on this page are now updating properly so hit your browser refresh and track the music you are listening to!

I am once again stringing together a nice mix of high powered music encompassing several decades ranging over a few different genre’s but heavy on the Hip-Hop flavor fo’ sure.

Mixing up some R&B Hip-hop and anything else that sounds flavorful in the mix.

Turn it up and get you boogie on G' Stlye or however you do your thang.

A glass of Chardonnay after a nice small taste of fish done in a skillet with veggies, spinach and some mellow tunes, come on and relax with me.

Monday evening and time to kick off another week with some hard and strong beats!

I almost got too carried away with the hard crazy beats! Now its time to still put a wrinkle of roughness but smoothed out with a nice set of Snakeice’s “Quiet Storm” time.

For the next two hours I'm Dropping nothing but Banging Ass Beats.
