Shiiiiooot I just feel like some slow mellow tunes with some grit every once in a while for this next set for the hour or so coming up starting now.
After some security and virus patch updates I’m back sowing musical packets across the internet expanse. I also reshuffled the play list.
Updating some security updates for the Operating system that have been waiting to be installed for about a month and a half. Music server will be up shortly after a reboot and music resynchronization. Enjoy the rest of the web site while you wait.
I had to change how I forwarded my ports for my music I’m serving up from my system. The new D-Link gaming router has an area to setup “Virtual Servers” as well as “Gaming” well the “Gaming” area is the only area to specify a span of ports to use like 1-10 (not the ports I’m using of course).
I had placed the port range I normally use in the “Virtual Server” area but what I was actually was doing was placing the span in “public” (WAN) and “private” (LAN, the port the server uses for the application on the LAN).
Good thing I checked and wanted to listen to my music before heading to bed. This is also why I listen to my music by clicking on my web page instead of taking the short cut and listening from my local LAN. Listening by clicking on my site insures that my music stream is playing properly.
Basically I had to list the server twice for the two ports I’m using, one for HiFi broadband connections and one listing for LoFi dial-up connections.
I’m dropping a nice special set of hyped beats for a special Monday flavor.
For those unaware I’m always kicking some nice beats and tunes in a randomized mix of songs but now when I give a shout out that I’m throwing a special set I’m setting up the music myself.
Also notice that just like a real DJ, and I do some DJing, with CD’s and now mp3’s, there is no dead air (unless doing server maintenance). There is no dead time between songs so you have a true mix as one song is mixed into the next.

Yeah I may capitalize on this to throw out some nice silky slow, rough but tender tunes at least for tonight for tomorrow I may or may not throw a slow set…..but you know in the evening it will be slow mellow at least at this time of the night.
Checking out a new combination of incense and oils to see how the fragrances flows through the house for future events ....Never too early to work out that recipe and give the house that memorable scent that they just can't put their finger on.
