Well it seems that Nadeo has instituted a concept they call Freezone servers that those with Trackmania free accounts can connect to. These Freezone servers are hosted by Nadeo only!

If you try connecting to my server or any other server with a free account you will get the error "Could not contact server. Connection to 188.165.231.204 failed or disconnected from server (10060)."

So to connect to my own server via the Internet I have to list it as a favorite and connect that way. This is the only way that anyone can connect to my server or any other server for Trackmania now unless you have a paid account over the internet. Local LAN there is no issue.

Nadeo lost some in-game advertising and they hope to make up the lost cash flow hoping that more people who were playing for free become paying customers. Good, bad or otherwise I don't know.

So once again to join my Trackmania server first list my server as a favorite then go into Trackmania, then favorites and click on  my server "Snakeice Den" or become a paid United Forever player.

I had many frags today in Nexuiz!

Fragging and going on a rampage is fun!

I fragged two players with one shot!

Fragged a camper today in Nexuiz.

I fragged tonight before going to bed on my Nexuiz server.

As you can see in theses examples fragmented sentences are just fine in today's lexicon!

Winding down the day/evening & night with a few shots over and through the bow with Nexuiz play! Nothing like the Sandman showing up with a plasma gun or rocket launcher to prepare you for a nice deep sleep @ the bewitching hour!

Nothing like a few games of Nexuiz on my server before going to bed! My skills are slowly improving but I still need to get better with the strafing, side to side movement, switching weapons and crouching.

I had forgotten it was so much fun to play on-line multi-player games. I played quite a bit in the '90's in LAN games and when Quake2 became the first on-line hit with dial-up and a few ISDN & DSL connections that was a mesmerizing time!

Well now I have my own servers that I host and was playing on my Nexuiz server learning the keystrokes and getting a feel of the flow with the bots I have programmed on the server along with a visitor who showed me how much I have to learn.

This is a terrific multi-player game that is Open Source and free but I'm sure the developers would appreciate any donations.

I think I need a more responsive keyboard and laser mouse and of course I need to improve my skill-set but man it was fun again to play on-line.
